Apprenticeship Week 6th - 10th February 2012
National Apprenticeship Week is all about raising the profile of Apprenticeships, taking place from 6 to 10 February 2012. The Week has been a tremendous success over the last four years and 2012 will be even bigger.

Boosting their futures
Employing an apprentice is a cost-effective way of making your organisation more efficient at the same time as investing time into a local young person and ensuring they reach a high level of competency and performance. They work with a wide range of partners to help design the frameworks for Apprentices and implement all government policies aimed at improving the quality and quantity of Apprenticeships.

Invest in Nottingham Club Event - 8th February

To coincide with National Apprenticeship Week 2012, the ‘Invest in Nottingham Club’ are inviting employers to an event focusing on jobs: the support available to companies via Nottingham City Council’s Job Fund, the National Apprenticeship Service and the opportunities being created by our two Universities. Local businesses are welcome and with four guest speakers this should be a great event, particularly if you’re looking to take on new staff.
